This is the second time I got sick this month. And my nth absence. Hope I get better soon. It's hard to think in this condition. Urgh. January is so not my month.

Something I found while watching MYX. Too bad the music video isn't available on Youtube yet but here's a sneakpeak.

Fashion Folio: All That Glitters

Fashion has been and will always be my religion, and so, to pay homage to the gods of stitching and weaving, I present to you a  series that feature my undying love for the most commercial of all the arts.

Sewed and plastered and glued and mellted on practically everything a woman has on her wardrobe, seems like designers have a note for affluence come Spring-Summer 2012. Bejeweled is the name of the game.

Lies Are Beautiful

And truths are ugly. They make you wake up from blissful daydreams. Yet they are the most important. And the most essential for sanity's sake.

Sometimes we swallow truths though deep inside, we'd rather vomit them.

Bitter Pills

This is not an apology, because I am, first and foremost an unapologetic person, but rather, this is an accounting of what had happened moments ago so as to explain the sudden outburst of unnecessary emotions.

I believe you should never had played that prank. I enjoy mockery but at the same time I loathe it. It is the very air that I breath in laughing moments and it is the very air that I scorn in trying times.

I was a bottle. But you should never have opened the bottle when you're not ready to know what is inside it. Because once the lid is up, there's no other remorse but to pour everything out.

I walked out not because I was dramatic, and I do hate those movie-like exits, but because I don't want to be more angry. You of all people must understand that.

Almost Dead But Not Quite

And so the curse of the bitten tongue* is lifted and the boy's literary nerves are jittering with excitement as another blog entry is to be created.

These past few days, the boy has spent most of his time vomiting. Not because he's pregnant-dear no. But because he had amoeba infection and his tummy just can't help but let out everything inside it. He also had LBM. And he almost got dehydrated, and if he wasn't admitted to the hospital, he would've died a liquid-less death. And he didn't liked it if he was parched.

The following day, he was discharged. And currently he's feeling better even if sometimes he feels like vomiting again.

In other death news, I am currently stressed-as always. Wish I have the time to finish sewing the costumes for our Humanities play. Again, I think this is a bad idea but I've already blurted out my thoughts on this one*, so No Comment!

Accounting is also killing me. The pressure of not passing, and sometimes barely passing most of our exams made me rethink much about my future with this profession.

With a gazillion things killing me, it seems like this is the only one that's not.

Much l♥ve,

Rumor Has It

*A semi-Gossip Girl rampant from the boy who loves the show.

Spotted: The Princely Pauper at a loss for words. Is this the beginning of a boring literary existence? Or has he finally given up with chasing pavements?

Fashion Folio: The Spring Campaigns

Fashion has been and will always be my religion, and so, to pay homage to the gods of stitching and weaving, I present to you a  series that feature my undying love for the most commercial of all the arts.

Since holiday news are already on yesterday's newspapers, I'm starting things this 2012 with something that's bound to be talked about in the next few months: the fashion campaigns.

Fashion ads have always been part of the marketing phase of every fashion house and by this time, people have realized the prowess behind these artful photographs. These not only publicize the next "it" goods a particular brand will be selling next season, these also promote that particular fashion house by carefully designed sets and  photography techniques that showcase what a brand is all about.

Here are a few of my favorite campaign ads in no particular order of favoritism-Chos, but I must say, Vuitton's ads are super sweet.

Dolce and Gabbana

Louis Vuitton

So, which one was your favorite?
